AHA’s ACLS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

 

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

 

At the end of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association ACLS Provider eCard. Certification cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue.

 

As a requirement before class, please complete the online pretest provided in your confirmation email upon completing your registration.

The ACLS Renewal course is a shortened version of the ACLS Initial course. You may register for the renewal course ONLY if your card is still valid. In order to prove the card is valid, you must arrive to the class with the original AHA ACLS card that is not expired. We honor the expiration date on the card until the end of the month it is set to expire on. If your card is not valid, you will be asked to pay the remaining price difference so you may take the initial course.

AHA’s BLS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing.

 

At the end of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard. Certification cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue.

This is an APPROVED American Heart Association Online Course

 

This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. Part 1 can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours; time to complete a practice and testing session varies.

 

HeartCode BLS uses the latest eSimulation technology to enable students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course teaches BLS knowledge and skills.  This method of learning provides training consistency, adaptability to different learning styles, and flexibility for the student’s and employer’s time. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Blended training also supports the need for hands-on learning of psychomotor skills. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation.

 

Once the cognitive portion of the course has been completed, students practice and test their skills with an AHA Instructor.

HeartSaver CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you CPR, AED and choking knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:

 

  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Adult choking
  • Child CPR and AED use (optional)
  • Infant CPR (optional)
  • Child choking (optional)
  • Infant choking (optional)

 

Once the cognitive portion of the course has been completed, students practice and test their skills with an AHA Instructor.

At the end of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard. Certification cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue.
